A short film about logic and time travel
The most important logician in modern world history, Kurt Gödel, was born in Brno, yet he remains virtually unknown in in his home country, the Czech Republic. He spent most of his life in the United States, where he became the closest collaborator of Albert Einstein. He expanded on Einstein’s theory of relativity and demonstrated the possibility of time travel. Despite his extraordinary intellect, he was a man of a deeply fragile soul. In a short animated film, director Jan Cechl portrays the most significant logician since Aristotle, based on the visual designs of leading Czech artist Vendula Chalánková.
